White House spokesman John Kirby said the United States will announce new sanctions against those involved in military-technical cooperation between Russia and Iran in the near future. DEA News.

“In the coming days,” Washington said it would announce additional sanctions against those “facilitating increased defense cooperation” between Russia and Iran.

He stressed that the United States sees signs of expanding “unprecedented” military-technical cooperation between the two countries in the context of the Ukraine conflict. Kirby said Tehran and Moscow’s cooperation in this area has “reached the level of full-scale cooperation” and has improved, especially when Iran buys “the equipment it needs” from Russia.
