Ukrainian national energy company Ukrenergo reported on its Telegram channel that two main lines in southwestern and eastern Ukraine were damaged by the bombardment.
“Yesterday, one of the main power lines in the southwest of Ukraine was damaged as a result of the intense attack of the Russians. In addition, one of the main lines in the east of the country was damaged due to the bombardment that hit a place close to the front line,” said the company, emphasizing that repair work has begun to restore the power lines.
Ukrenergo noted that the company continues to work on all damaged objects in the main networks. They also asked the citizens of the country to transfer or alternate the use of powerful electrical appliances day and night to facilitate the balancing of the energy system.
Formerly Ukrenergo, Japan decided To purchase electrical equipment for Ukraine for 40 million dollars.
