“The regions of Russia will receive 10 billion rubles to finance part of the costs of farmers for the production and sale of cereal crops,” the report said.
The money will be allocated from the federal budget and sent to 65 regions of the country. Local authorities will then transfer funds to local agricultural producers who can cover up to 50% of their costs for the production and sale of wheat, rye, barley and corn.
It was noted that the government took this step to ensure stability in the grain and food markets.
