The management of the American oilfield services company SLB (formerly Schlumberger) limited its business activities in the Russian market in order to survive in the face of international sanctions imposed by Western countries on the Russian Federation. In the third quarter of 2022, the division’s revenue increased quarter-on-quarter compared to the second quarter.

The new restrictions apply to the delivery of all products and technologies manufactured by SLB divisions in the US, UK, European Union (EU) countries and Canada.
