The volume of Russian gas purchased by Spain in April 2023 increased by 98.7 percent compared to the same period last year. Such data was published by the Spanish energy company Enagas. TASS.
According to the company, Spain purchased 6,513 gigawatt-hours equivalent of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia in April.
It was noted that in 2023, Russia is also in third place in terms of LNG supply to Spain, after Algeria and the USA. In total, in the first four months of this year, the kingdom bought 23,810 gigawatt-hours of LNG from the Russian Federation, which is 118% more than in 2022.
