If the ruling New Democracy (ND) party wins the elections, the Greek economy will grow by 3% a year. This was expressed in a briefing organized by government spokesman Akis Skertsos, transmits TASS.
“The programme, presented by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, demonstrates the aspirations for “Greece 2030 for a more productive, social, greener and digital, fairer and stronger Greece. “We want and can see the Greek economy grow at 3% a year, twice as fast as the rest of Europe,” Skertsos said.
According to him, by 2030 the income of the population could increase by a quarter. In addition, public debt could fall below 130% by 2027 and the number of new farmers could increase by 60,000.
He added that the measures prepared by the ruling party to support the people meet the needs of the country and will help solve many problems. In addition, the ND party has repeatedly shown that it is on the side of society by supporting both workers and businesses.
In early May, Kristalina Georgieva, head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), statedthat the currently globalized economy risks growing into separate warring blocs. At the same time, such a scenario would be detrimental to the vast majority of countries.
