“Assessment of pension rights means additional payment to citizens who worked before January 1, 2002. Since a citizen worked until 2002, the amount of his pension increases by 10%. But if we are talking about the Soviet experience, then we will talk about additional payments that were due until 1991. In this case, the pension increases by 1% for each working year.”

According to him, the assessment of pension payments takes place without an application. The thing is that the pension fund independently calculates all the values ​​​​and indicators from which the final amount of the pension is formed.

He added that depending on the number of years worked during the Soviet era, the pension could increase quite significantly.

At the end of April Vadim Vinogradov, member of the Public Office, Dean of the HSE Law School declarationthat the pension may turn out to be very small due to an error in the calculations. According to the expert, the culprit may be an unscrupulous employer who does not pay an employee a contribution. The expert explained that there are also technical errors in the documents. In particular, the employee’s information is entered incorrectly into the Social Fund system.
