Eni stated that the previously concluded contracts continue to function, “Abbreviations applied by Gazprom Export are subject to confidential arbitration.”
According to the publication, Eni has recorded a decline in the Russian company’s gas supply since mid-2022. In June, the Italian company reported a 15% decrease in received volumes. Then the fact of the reduction in volumes was confirmed by Gazprom, stating that the Austrian side “refuses to confirm the transport candidacy”.
