The European Union considers it possible to impose sanctions on Chinese companies that supply electronic equipment to Russia, a British newspaper reported. Finance Times.

According to Brussels, such materials could be used by the Russian military-industrial complex.

The EU plans to include seven Chinese companies producing microchips, semiconductors and other electronic products in the 11th package of anti-Russian sanctions.

According to the newspaper, the list of sanctions includes two companies from mainland China – 3HC Semiconductors and King-Pai Technology, as well as five companies from Hong Kong: Sinno Electronics, Sigma Technology, Asia Pacific Links, Tordan Industry, Alpha Trading Investments.

In addition, the EU plans to impose sanctions on companies from the UAE, Syria and Armenia.
