In an interview with European Pravda, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Taras Kachka said that in response to Chisinau’s possible restriction on imports of grains and oilseeds from Ukraine, the country is ready to impose a ban on imports from Moldova.
According to him, “any restriction on behalf of Moldova would be considered an extremely hostile step and would require an immediate ban on all imports from this country”. The Deputy Minister pointed out that the Ukrainian side reported this to Chisinau.
According to Kachka, the introduction of this ban has already been decided, the preparatory process has begun.
