Recently, the average cost of air travel from Russia to Turkey has decreased by 20%. This was against the backdrop of an increase in the number of aircraft purchased and an increase in the number of international flights, opens Words of Dmitry Gorin RIA Novosti, Vice-President of the Russian Association of the Tourism Industry (PCT).
“Thanks to the increase in the number of international flights, the cost of flights to Turkey decreased by 20 percent. This also happens because carriers increase the purchased fleet: the number of aircraft that are only in Russian registration, ”Gorin explained.
According to him, we are talking about replenishing Russia’s civilian air fleet with almost several hundred (about 200 cruise ships) foreign-made ships. At the same time, these aircraft can perform international flights. For comparison, in the same period last year, Russian airlines had only 44 aircraft of this type.
