Rapid growth – more than 100% – was shown in most regions of the Russian Federation (53 people). The study also notes that the average revenue per organization in Russia is growing in all niches. At the same time, fast food was the fastest growing sector, with an increase of 285,000 compared to the first quarter of last year.

“It’s pretty much the same picture as the average check: it grew 13% across all niches, especially fast food. In turn, Alexey Shashkin, head of Sberbank’s Small and Micro Business division, said that the bank’s task is to support small businesses and help them thrive.

“This is why we study and research different markets to develop new services and offers. For example, in Moscow, Russians visit fast food 4 times more often than cafes and restaurants: 32 million customers against 8 million. One out of every 5 customers in the capital returns to the bar where he was during the year. And in the Omsk and Novosibirsk regions – once every 2. “This and other data confirms that catering remains one of the most popular types of small businesses among customers.”
