Samotlorneftegaz (one of the leading production assets of Rosneft Oil Company) saved about 24 thousand tons of standard fuel in 2022 thanks to the implementation of the energy saving program, the company’s press service reported.
In monetary terms, the impact is estimated at 813 million rubles. At the same time, the energy savings of approximately 197 million kWh is enough to provide uninterrupted electricity for 10 months to a city with a population of 100,000.
As part of the energy saving program, Samotlorneftegaz has implemented about 2.3 thousand measures in the main areas of its production activities, including the commissioning of advanced technologies and equipment.
About 1,100 high-voltage submersible electric motors, about 180 high-efficiency electric submersible pumps and over 200 new modification transformers were installed on the mechanized background.
In the oil refining and reservoir pressure protection system, 12 energy efficiency measures were implemented, individually tailored for specific equipment.
Samotlorneftegaz also launched an automatic boiler room at the central collection point of the Lor-Eganskoye field. Special equipment allows you to automatically select the optimal heat supply mode, depending on weather conditions.
