“Vyberu.ru”: 27% of Russians cannot cope with the payment of loan debts

Almost a third of borrowers in Russia cannot repay their loans. In this respect Wrote online publication Lenta.ru cites data from a study of the financial market Vyberu.ru.

According to service analysts, 52% of requested Russians have a full liability to financial institutions (7,000 Russian citizens aged 18 to 65 years old were surveyed). Of these, 44% of respondents make more than one loan repayment and 27% have difficulty repaying a loan.

According to Yaroslav Bajurak, managing director of Vyberu.ru, borrowers with a loan usually fulfill their obligations without any problems. Problems can arise when there are several loans. The situation worsens if the customer gives a loan to pay back the previous one.

Last week, the press service of the Central Bank of Russia knowledgeablethat Russian borrowers with several loans at the same time will be entitled to a comprehensive debt restructuring from all creditors at the same time.

In the second half of April, several deputies of the State Duma, headed by the head of the financial market committee, Anatoly Aksakov, made a bill on the right of a citizen to impose a ban on lending, for consideration by the lower house of parliament.
