The head of Sovcomflot, Igor Tonkovidov, said that in 2022 the main volume of Russian oil was transported by ships of hostile countries. TASS.

“The bulk of Russian oil and gas exports are still carried out by foreign shipowners (from non-hostile countries),” Tonkovidov said in a presentation at the National Oil and Gas Forum.

The presentation states that at the end of 2022, Sovcomflot carries only 14% of total Russian oil.

According to experts, it was possible to achieve a new export maximum due to high demand from China, India and Turkey, and the export of Russian oil to European countries by sea was recorded at 83,000 barrels per day for 28 days until April 21.
