In Sberbank, it has become possible to transfer Chinese yuan and Belarusian rubles throughout Russia to any bank in Belarus by account number. Dmitry Malykh, Senior Vice President of B2C Transaction Banking at Sberbank, spoke about this.
It is noted that the transfer requires a Savings Account in the appropriate currency, which can be opened in SberBank Online in the “Deposit and Accounts” section.
“Our customers have long been accustomed to transfers in rubles, and now we have created a similar simple and convenient transfer service in other popular currencies (Chinese yuan and Belarusian ruble). “We see a demand for such a service and we are confident that it will help our customers develop business ties, resolve their financial problems, travel comfortably and support their loved ones.”
The bank explained that the commission is 1% of the transferred currency amount. Currently, you can make transfers in the web version or in the SberBank Online mobile application on Android devices.
