Ambassador Dmitry Feoktistov said that nuclear tenders concerning Russia were announced in Argentina. DEA News.

“Just this week, the Argentines announced two international tenders. One for the modernization of the Atucha I nuclear power plant, and the second for the construction of a storage facility for spent nuclear fuel. The final project is estimated at several hundred million dollars,” said Feoktistov.

He explained that given the wide experience and international recognition, these tenders may be of interest to Rosatom.

The Rosenergoatom concern, which was previously part of the electrical power division of the state company Rosatom, licensed Federal Environmental Technological and Nuclear Inspection Service for the deployment of the first low-power land-based nuclear power plant (ASMM) in the modern history of Russia in the Ust-Yansky nation of Yakutia.
