As MTT Product Director Vasily Sazhko emphasized, it is MTT’s most important task to help improve the security of the personal data of users of one of Russia’s largest Internet companies.

“The solution was developed by us specifically for Ozone, so buyers in the marketplace can communicate with sellers and couriers without worrying about the security of their personal data.”

Ozon said there are more than 100 calls and messages on the market every minute. At the same time, the functionality of MTS Exolve allows you to forward calls of the seller and the delivery service to a virtual number, and the system connects them to the buyer through the Telecom API. With this solution, Ozon protects its customers from unwanted communication and enables them to communicate securely with vendors and couriers.

Aleksey Fedulov, Head of Quality Control and Anti-Fraud at Ozon, stated that the market is sensitive to user security and offers new ways to protect them from unwanted communications.

“The introduction of Number Protection mode has helped us reduce the number of inappropriate calls on the platform, and the moderation system helps combat potential fraud in messages and calls. We also ask our customers to be mindful of their digital security and not to share their personal data, including phone numbers, with anyone, including vendors on the site.” .
