German manufacturer of household and industrial chemicals, Henkel AG, signed an agreement with a consortium of local investors to sell businesses in the Russian Federation in a press release.

Augment Investments, Kismet Capital Group and Elbrus Services are included in the consortium that will own the company’s assets in Russia.

“All necessary approvals have been obtained from government authorities, the transaction is expected to close in the near future,” the document says.

It is stated that the transaction amount will be 54 billion rubles.

Henkel decided to sell its business in Russia in April 2022.
