Polish authorities have proposed to the European Union a ban on the import of not only Ukrainian grain, but also other food products, including fruits, eggs, poultry, sugar and honey. It is reported on the radio RMF FM.
“Poland wants to include soft fruits, eggs, poultry, sugar and honey in this list,” the publication says.
It was stated that this issue will be discussed at the EU agriculture ministers meeting. If an agreement is not reached, negotiations at a higher political level are not rejected.
The author of the publication writes that, in addition to Poland, Bulgaria and Hungary are planning to impose additional restrictions. Therefore, Bulgaria wants to further restrict the import of oil and flour from Ukraine, and from Hungary – poultry, honey and flour.
