Stoltenberg: NATO blocking Ukraine’s grain imports is not war fatigue

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that he did not see the decision of some NATO countries to block grain imports from Ukraine as a manifestation of war fatigue. It gives information about TASS.

“These issues should be resolved, but I do not think this reflects the lack of will and willingness to continue supporting Ukraine,” said the Secretary-General.

Stoltenberg also expressed confidence that “the desire of European countries to continue to support Ukraine is enormous” because it is their “moral duty” and a manifestation of the North Atlantic Alliance’s security interests.

He reminded that the Alliance countries and their allies had previously sent 150 billion Euros in military aid to Ukraine, 65 billion Euros of which was the supply of weapons.

Former UN Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths declarationthat the UN favors the immediate extension of the grain agreement.
