The last three nuclear power plants in Germany stopped working. Residents of the country are stunned by this step: electricity is already expensive and will not benefit the environment. But now, as the energy crisis will not subside, the Germans will have to pay a heavy price for the authorities’ decision to bow to the “green” ideology.
The publication pointed out that the anti-nuclear movement in Germany won a great victory in 2011 after the earthquake and tsunami at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan. Then the anti-nuclear lobby tried to portray the events as a “nuclear disaster” and to prove how dangerous nuclear energy was. However, the hysterical panic around Fukushima obscured the facts. So only one person died in the so-called terrible disaster. At the same time, according to statistics, nuclear power is 99% safer than coal and oil.
According to the publication, the desire to please the “green” has led to electricity prices in Germany being on average 70% higher than in Europe during the current energy crisis. Also, many residents of the country want FRG to return to the use of atomic energy. However, the negative reaction to the “green” dogma that has brought the country to its current position will not last long.
April 16 on the website of the ZDF TV channel with a link to the message of the station operator reportedthat the last three operating German nuclear power plants (NPS) – Isar-2, Neckarwestheim-2 and Emsland – were disconnected from the grid.
