The US government will allocate $4 billion for the construction of new small nuclear reactors in Poland. In this respect informs RIA Novosti refers to the statement of US Ambassador to Warsaw, Mark Brzezinski.

“Poland needs new energy solutions to protect itself from Russian influence, meet climate commitments and accelerate the development of the economy,” Brzezinski said.

According to him, the decision of the American authorities is an important step for the future of Poland. In addition, energy will be an important part of the development of relations between the USA and Poland in the next 100 years.

It is known that the American bank Exim will allocate 3 billion dollars, and the Agency Development Finance Corporation another 1 billion dollars, in this case we are talking about the BWRX-300 reactors designed by Hitachi Nuclear Energy.
