Belarusian brand Swed House has the right to sell original products of the Swedish furniture retailer IKEA, there is nothing illegal in such an application. Words of company owner Murat Shagylydzhov opens Rise edition.
April 15 TASS agency reportedThe first store of the Belarusian brand Swed House in Russia was opened in the shopping and entertainment center (SEC) “Shchelkovsky” in Moscow. In this establishment, you can also buy analogues of the goods of the Swedish retailer IKEA, which left the domestic market of the Russian Federation due to international sanctions. At the same time, Shagylydzhov did not disclose through which channels the products of a foreign company entered the stores of the Belarusian brand.
“This is still classified information. And neither from Europe nor from China. How did you see that IKEA products are banned from selling? Any person, any entrepreneur, any store can trade these goods. We have few IKEA branded products. We’re focused on transitioning to our brand,” explains the owner of Swed House.
According to him, on the opening day of the Moscow store of the Belarusian brand, kitchen products were most in demand. Against this background, the management of Swed House began to prepare the shipment of products from a warehouse located in Belarus.
“Since there is not enough stock in Moscow, the warehouse in Belarus began to prepare the shipment. There are also many applications for furniture, the car was searched for tomorrow. The excitement is higher than expected, everything is fine, thank God, ”Shagylydzhov said.
