RBC reported that the Russian Ministry of Economy estimated the GDP of the LDNR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions at 2 trillion rubles.
It is stated that in 2023, taking these four regions into account, Russia’s GDP will amount to 159.81 trillion rubles, and without them – 157.777 trillion rubles.
Earlier, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that the rise in the prices of Russian energy resources will cause the ruble to strengthen. His words were quoted by the Telegram channel Shot.
According to him, since the price of the Russian national currency depends on the balance of trade, this will have a positive effect on the strengthening of the ruble.
