In the near future, a legislative initiative will be prepared on one-time contributions of representatives of large Russian enterprises to the federal budget (unexpected tax). Words of the Minister of Finance of Russia Anton Siluanov opens TASS.
16 March Siluanov declarationthat the projected rate of a one-time fee from businesses will be 5% of the organizations’ excess profits for 2021-2022. At the same time, according to him, companies will be able to pay this fee in 2024. During negotiations with the business community, an agreement was reached that the contribution will be about 300 billion rubles.
“We await the first quarter result to adjust the rate based on the budget revenue levels we have agreed with the business. In the near future, such information will be sent to the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. We will prepare a legislative initiative in the near future,” explained Siluanov.
17 March Central Bank (MB) Governor Elvira Nabiullina statedthat the currency regulator’s leadership has not found “good reasons” for banks not to pay contributions to the budget. A one-time tax has to be paid by credit institutions that do not use regulatory facilitation.
