Lawyer Efimov: courts handle about 70% of businessmen’s claims against marketplaces

Approximately 70% of the cases where the marketplaces are the defendants are settled in favor of the commercial plaintiffs. The lawyer cited the statistics of the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region. Now in this court where disputes with Wildberry are being examined, there are approximately 1,350 cases against which this marketplace is pending. In the other 422 cases, the defendant is Ozon. Of these, nearly 300 lawsuits were filed in January-March 2023 alone. At the end of last year, the amount of all requests was about 800 million rubles.
