According to the results of February this year, the volume of imports from Russia to Germany decreased by 91% and amounted to approximately 300 million Euros in monetary terms. “In February this year, imports of Russian products to Germany fell by 91 percent compared to the same month of 2022. In February, goods with a total value of about 300 million euros were imported from Russia to Germany. First of all, the supply of energy resources from the Russian Federation was reduced, ”says the material.
Thus, in monetary terms, Russian oil and gas imports fell from €2.2 billion in February 2022 to €4.2 million (-99.8%) this year. Supply of petroleum products (-91.4%; from €353 million to €30 million) and coal (-92.5%; from €347 million to €26 million) decreased slightly. As a result, according to the results of February this year, Russia fell from 11th to 46th place in the list of important trading partners of Germany.
