Sberbank lends 230 million rubles to Crimean small businesses

According to the press service of Sberbank, since Sberbank began serving legal entities in the Crimea, small and micro-enterprises operating on the peninsula have made loans of more than 230 million rubles.

Since March 2023, when the financial institution began serving legal entities in Crimea, a total of more than 400 local entrepreneurs have opened current accounts at Sberbank.

Sberbank notes that in order to increase the lending opportunity for Crimean entrepreneurs, Sberbank and the Crimean Guarantee Fund have signed an agreement on which the fund will provide guarantees for loan transactions to residents of the republic.

“To help develop business on the peninsula, Sberbank is looking for new partners. The Crimean Guarantee Fund can guarantee an entrepreneur in an amount of up to 70% of the financing amount, up to 50 million rubles per borrower. As a result, the company will take out a loan even if it does not have sufficient collateral. Anatoly Popov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, said that the agreement we signed is an important driving force for the development of the regional economy.
