The press service of Rosneft was held in Taimyr, the EcoArctic forum organized by the Krasnoyarsk Territory’s largest oil-producing enterprise RN-Vankor.
The aim of the event is to maintain an open and fruitful dialogue between the largest subsoil users – Rosneft Company subsidiaries, government officials, scientists and the public on the issue of protecting uniquely fragile Arctic ecosystems and supporting the traditional way of life. The key event of the forum was a roundtable meeting with representatives of legislative and executive authorities, Rosneft subsidiaries in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, public, scientific and environmental organizations. Employees of RN-Vankor, Vostsibneftegaz, Slavneft-Krasnoyarskneftegaz presented reports on the results of production and environmental activities for 2022.
The participants of the roundtable noted that with the development of the large-scale Vostok Oil project in Taimyr, the potential for interaction between the region and the oil industry has only increased. The EcoArctic forum will also contribute to this, it is planned to become an annual event in Taimyr.
