The SME Company and the largest Russian marketplaces have agreed to jointly develop systemic rules for working in the e-commerce market and measures to support and develop small businesses in this area. This was reported by the press service of the company.
As Isaevich said, a special section has been created on the MSP.RF digital platform where they will receive requests from marketplace vendors and ordering points.
“The institution undertakes to monitor each appeal to, among other things, monitor their systemic nature and take immediate response measures with Internet sites, as well as provide advice and legal assistance when interacting with marketplaces. “Our common duty is to prevent fires,” he said.
In addition, the interaction issues between the subjects of the e-commerce market will become a separate topic of discussion in the near future. One of the most important of them is offers, fines and sanctions for non-compliance with the rules of working with marketplaces.
The CEO of SME Corporation emphasized that it is important to establish a partnership and transparent operation in this market. According to him, online commerce today is the fastest growing segment of the economy, with a large number of new companies registered.
“Since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of small and medium-sized businesses selling online has increased by 6 times to 245.9 thousand. It is getting easier to do business in marketplaces, so the number of entrepreneurs is increasing.” The sites will only continue to grow. The same applies to command posts,” Isaevich added.
The multilateral memorandum was signed by Ozone General Manager Sergey Belyakov, Marketplace LLC (Sbermegamarket) General Manager Sergey Malyshev, Wildberry General Manager Tatyana Bakalchuk and Yandex Market State Relations Director Dmitry Rusakov. On behalf of the SME Company, the document was signed by General Manager Alexander Isaevich.
He also noted that during the negotiations, the marketplaces expressed their support for the development of this market segment and their readiness to solve the problematic issues in partnership.
