Poll: More than a quarter of Russians ready to use drones in the future

More than a quarter of Russians – 26% – are ready to use drone taxis after passing the necessary tests. In total, 43% of the citizens show interest in this mode of transportation. In this respect Wrote TASS with reference to data from a survey of the Future Transport company.

The company explained that every second participant has a positive attitude towards air taxis. Most survey respondents associate this type of transportation with the search for missing persons or the assistance of rescuers and the distribution of food.

It appears from the survey that more than a third of respondents – 37% – are willing to pay the same amount for a trip in an unmanned taxi as a conventional taxi during rush hour. That is, from 100 to 500 rubles. At the same time, one in five Russians is ready to spend several thousand rubles for it.

More than a quarter of Russians – 26% – believe people will switch to unmanned taxis within ten years, and 14% – in three to five years.
