Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman wants to make the country’s capital Riyadh the world’s largest city and double its population to 15 million by 2030. It has been reported Bloomberg.

The publication states that for this, the country will have rules from 2024 that prohibit government agencies from doing business with international companies if they do not have their regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia.

According to Will Brown, an employee of global risk consulting firm Control Risks, he will soon be moving to Riyadh with his family and plans to open the company’s headquarters in the Saudi capital.

The agency underlines that Saudi Arabia plans to compete with Dubai, the capital of the UAE, which is freer and more cosmopolitan but more expensive in this way.

It was previously known that Saudi Arabia actually was. dictates own rules of the game in the global oil market. This is because Riyadh is pushing the decision to reduce the daily volume of raw material production in some OPEC+ countries.
