Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko signed a document allowing to start the process of reinstating electricity exports to Europe. TASSWith reference to the press service of the Ministry.
“Galushchenko signed an executive document allowing the process of resuming electricity exports in case of electricity surplus,” the ministry said in a statement.
According to the head of the department, the Ukrainian energy system has been operating without restrictions for consumers for almost two months and has a power reserve. Galushchenko expects the resumption of exports to attract additional financial resources. He added that in case of violation of electricity supply to Ukrainian consumers, electricity exports may be suspended.
