The French are currently exploring various strategy options on the market. For example, they may use local names for products currently sold under global brands.
It was noted that in October 2022, Danone announced its intention to cede control over local dairy and plant-based beverage production. But this deal will not include the baby food business: Nutrilon, Malyutka and Malysh brands.
According to experts, the company will transfer its assets to management, keeping the option to repurchase it. However, global names are unlikely to change hands.
