In January-March this year, the demand for new buildings in Russia increased by 4.8% compared to the last quarter of last year. At the same time, the supply of new buildings in the Russian Federation increased by an average of 49.9% during the year. This was reported in the press service of the Avito Real Estate service.

“The most significant increase in real estate demand for new buildings in the first quarter grew by 50.8%, 42.3% and 33.8%, respectively, in Omsk, Sevastopol and Kazan. At the same time, the most pronounced decrease in demand was recorded in Moscow – 37% per quarter.
The message of “19.3% of visitors to free planned properties, 12% to multi-room apartments, 6.2% to two-room apartments, 4.7% to one-room apartments and 0.3% to three-bedroom apartments and studios” originates from the message of the service.

The head of the primary real estate department of the service, Dmitry Alekseev, noted that the demand for new buildings in Russia in January-March is largely due to the extension of preferential mortgages, albeit with increasing rates, rates and discounts, which are subsidized by developers.

According to the service, on average, 1 square meter costs, according to the results of January-March. m in new buildings across the country increased by 0.5%. The most significant increase was observed in Krasnodar with 12.9%. The biggest decrease was in Sevastopol with 8.7%.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the extension of the preferential mortgage program by 8% per year at the end of last year, until July 1, 2024. The program rate was increased by 1 point. The preferential mortgage program for new buildings was launched in spring 2020. The maximum loan amount for this is 12 million rubles.
