In the first quarter of 2023 (January-March), the average check in a restaurant in Russia increased by 11% compared to the same period of 2022, reaching approximately 640 rubles. The Prime Ministry wrote about this issue, referring to a message from the press service of the Kontur.Market service system.

“The average check in the first three months of 2023 ranged from 625 to 639 rubles. That’s an 11 percent increase compared to 2022,” he says.

The company noted that from January to March, businesses issue checks from the same period last year.

At the same time, revenue from catering businesses for the reporting period increased by 7% compared to the first quarter of 2022 to RUB 55,173 billion.

In the second half of March, the News.ru portal, citing data from the online vault developer Evotor reported 24% increase in the cost of instant noodles in Russia in March 2023 compared to March 2022.
