Izvestia: 60% of Russians ready to take a mortgage

One out of every 12 Russian citizens surveyed (8.2%) said they wanted to buy an apartment in the next six months, 60.3% said they were ready to take out a mortgage, and one in four (23%) planned to close the house in five years. They are ready to pay the maximum price in Moscow – an average of 7 million rubles, the lowest – in Astrakhan (1.8 million rubles).

Most often in Krasnodar – 97% of respondents, in Tyumen – 83%, in Kazan – 82%, in Ufa – 79%, in Omsk – 76%, in Naberezhnye Chelny and St. Petersburg – they want to take a 71% mortgage each. Most of all, participants in Makhachkala want to take a mortgage – 35%.
