From April 1, 2023, the Russian government expanded the geography of oil product deliveries at a discounted rate – the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Irkutsk Region were included in the subsidy program. It has been reported TASS.
It was clarified that the program includes allocating subsidies to carriers to compensate for losses while establishing preferential tariffs for the delivery of gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel by rail. According to Russian authorities, these incentives will help contain dynamics in wholesale prices, reduce pressure on retail and support local independent gas station operators.
The press service of the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) stated that the subsidy will be 4 thousand rubles per ton and will increase the number of facilities that can supply fuel to the Far East.
