US authorities extend export sanctions against Aeroflot

The United States Department of Commerce has extended the export restrictions of Russian airline Aeroflot for 180 days. It gives information about TASS Pursuant to the decision of the US Department of Commerce.

“I hereby accept the request for an extension of the temporary exemption,” the document signed by Deputy Secretary of Commerce Matthew Axelrod said.

The order states that it comes into effect immediately and will be valid until September of this year.

In October last year, the U.S. Department of Commerce temporarily withdrawn Export privileges from Russian airlines Ural Airlines, S7 Airlines, Nordwind Airlines, Azur Air, Aeroflot, Pobeda, Rossiya and UTair.
