Chernogolovka acquires Russian baby food company Kraft Heinz

The Chernogolovka group of companies has agreed with the American company Kraft Heinz to buy the Russian baby food business. It has been reported DEA Newsreferring to the press service of the group of companies.

“We have signed an agreement to purchase the Kraft Heinz baby food business in Russia,” the press service said.

They stated that the deal covers the company’s two brands and two factories located in Georgievsk and Ivanovo.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed. Companies will have to confirm their parameters with the regulator.

Chernogolovka has been running the baby food business since 2020. The company has its own brand “Chernogolovka baby”. Under this brand, milk porridges, fruit juices, fruit purees and children’s meatballs and children’s juices are produced.

Previously at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation declarationthat some companies have “temporary difficulties” in the supply of foreign ingredients for baby food.
