The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine announced that Kiev will receive $ 400 million from Japan for the urgent restoration of critical infrastructure. This was reported on the social networks of the department.

“Japan allocates US$ 400 million for the restoration of Ukraine. The funds will be allocated as part of an emergency recovery program targeting critical infrastructure. It is planned to purchase the necessary equipment and services for the restoration in return for this money.

The statement also stated that the Japanese authorities will provide $70 million in grant support for the reconstruction of Ukraine through the UN Development Program mechanism.

March 30 Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided to allocate Kiev received a new humanitarian aid package worth 470 million dollars, and it was noted that the fund will be used for the restoration of infrastructure, as well as equipment necessary for mine clearance and debris removal.

On the same day, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine accepted $1.25 billion grant from Washington. It was announced that the resources will be used to ensure the repayment of part of the state budget expenditures.
