Izhevsk took the first place in the ranking of cities with the cheapest transition from a one-room apartment to a two-room apartment. The publication noted that here it is possible to improve living conditions by changing the “odnushka” to a “kopek piece” for 680 thousand rubles.

According to analysts, the second place belongs to Volgograd, Tula and Bryansk. The difference in price when moving in these cities will be 800 thousand rubles. Next comes Kirov, where moving from a one-room apartment to a two-room apartment will cost an additional 810 thousand rubles.

The largest surcharge when moving was in Moscow. So moving to a two-room apartment will cost 4.65 million rubles. This amount turned out to be more than the average “kopek” cost in more than 19 million cities. After the capital is Sochi, where the cost of an additional room will cost 3.21 million rubles.

In early December, furniture retailer Hoff researched reportedthat the majority of Russians who buy their own apartments move into the house without finishing it. Another 31% admitted that they had to buy all the furniture and appliances after they moved. The rest stated that they moved into a finished apartment.
