“Despite the challenges we faced in 2022, the eurozone has shown resilience. Growth was 3 percent. We expect lower numbers this year but still expect growth in the euro area. “Recent events in the financial sector and at banks around the world remind us that we need to stay alert and continue to monitor the situation,” Donoghue said.
Donohue said that in 2023 and 2024 we need to maintain coordination and at the same time make gradual changes in budget policy.
“We must continue to support our communities, especially those who need it most, but we state that in the face of continued changes, measures that stimulate demand in our economy can no longer be demanded,” said the head of the Eurogroup.
