Mishustin: Sales of IT industry products and services increased 22% in 2022

“We provided preferential loans for IT businesses. We’ve exempted them from field tax audits and are simplifying public procurement procedures. Zero income tax for the next two years. As a result, the number of accredited IT companies has increased. At the same time, the sales of the products and services of the sector increased by 22 percent compared to the previous year.

The Prime Minister noted that almost 80 percent of foreign software has domestic analogues.

“This year, the launch of pilot projects on the introduction of Russian computer-aided design systems at the largest enterprises will be fully completed. And also – essential products for data and process management,” he said.

Earlier, Mishustin announced an increase in the minimum wage in Russia from January 1, 2024. As the Prime Minister stated, the figure will grow by another 18.5%. Mishustin added that the Russian economy remained afloat in 2022, returning to its growth trajectory, and that in 2024 GDP growth rates will be higher than that of developed countries.
