Russia will expand liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies to China. This was written by the TASS agency with reference to the statement made by Russian President Vladimir Putin on 21 March following the results of the Russia-China talks.
“Russia ranks fourth in the supply of liquefied natural gas. “Of course, LNG supply will increase in the foreseeable future,” he said.
Putin also announced Moscow’s intention to increase uninterrupted oil supplies to China.
“While China has become the leader in Russia’s oil imports, Russia is ready to increase its uninterrupted oil supply for the needs of the Chinese economy,” he said.
The talks between Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Grand Kremlin Palace have come to an end. The interviews lasted about three hours. At the meeting, Putin and Xi Jinping signed two statements on their economic cooperation plans and plans to deepen the partnership between the two countries.
Xi Jinping arrived in Russia on March 20.
