According to experts, from March 7 to March 20, the number of attacks on financial institutions increased by 126% compared to the same period of 2022, and by 63% compared to the same period of February 2023.
According to StormWall, “political hackers” are behind the attacks, who after a long hiatus attacked Russian banks and payment systems with renewed vigor in March.
The attacks against the organizations were not very strong, but their power was enough to disrupt the work of the banks, especially their websites and applications did not work. StormWall said the maximum attack time is 48 hours.
