Major Russian wineries are about to launch non-alcoholic versions of their drinks to increase their market share. In this respect writer Kommersant refers to market participants.
The publication noted that Fanagoria has started the production of non-alcoholic white and pink sparkling wines made from aged grape juice. The volume of the first batches is about 60 thousand bottles, the recommended retail price is 230 rubles. For a 0.75 liter bottle. At the same time, the new product will go on sale, first of all, in the network of branded wine stores. Other market participants added that they started to take into account the increasing demand for soft drinks. Therefore, I had to activate the work with lower grade drinks.
Market experts agree that the properties of non-alcoholic wines are in no way similar to real wine. In addition, such drinks can be classified as carbonated drinks. In general, the entire category of non-alcoholic wines in Russia still remains a “special story” and its market share is only 1% of all wine sales.
Analysts thought that according to Russian law, non-alcoholic wine should be produced from ordinary wine. But this technology is quite expensive, and it will be difficult to buy a drink worth 250 rubles a bottle. At the same time, the demand for such drinks is increasing and it is not difficult to sell as alcohol licenses are not required for sale.
March 9 RBC refers to market participants WroteThat the wholesale cost of Crimean wines can increase from 3% to 15% due to the ban on passing trucks from the Crimean bridge. Crimean winemakers will look for alternative ways to deliver wine that will increase costs.
