The Ministry of Construction has developed a draft law, which includes the creation of a free economic zone (FEZ) in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. In this respect writer RBC refers to the received document.

The document stated that the adoption of the bill would allow “the sustainable socio-economic development of new establishments”. It is planned to establish SEZs in these regions by the end of 2050. For comparison, the period of activity of the SEZ in Crimea and Sevastopol is until the end of 2039.

The Ministry of Construction noted that in order to participate in the SEZ, it is necessary to have a company registered in the territory of the new regions of Russia or its branches there. The size of capital investments in the first three years should not fall below 3 million rubles for small businesses, and at least 30 million rubles for all other companies.

A separate bill would introduce a zero income tax rate to the budget for 10 years from the moment the first profit is made. At the same time, the tax rate can be adjusted between 0% and 13.5% according to the budget of the subject.
