Moldovagaz head Vadim Cheban said in March that the company is again returning to buying gas from Gazprom for consumers on the right bank of the Dniester. It has been reported DEA News.

Moldovagaz will purchase approximately 0.7-0.8 million cubic meters per day from Gazprom PJSC and approximately 1.3-1.5 million cubic meters per day from Energocom JSC until the end of March 2023.

According to him, “Gazprom” supplies Moldova with 5.7 million cubic meters of gas per day. The fuel is used for electricity generation as well as for consumers from Transnistria.
